Guitar desing - no way back

Now it's on. Drawing directly onto the slippery surface of the gutiar, I understand how people would want to do the design on stickers and paste it on. But this is the charm, not if, but when I fuck up a line, I have to start using my head. How can I make this look intentional? Former bass player in the great band bloodlights asked me if I wanted do do some shit on his bass guitar, of course I had to take that risk. What to do then. His brief was loose and nice, "give me something completely of", so this is what I have been drawing on now. Ofter being "out on life" to much lately, I have problems getting lines and ideas, but it is starting to loosen up..
