Aftermath - the promille collection

After a great night at WeSC concept store in Oslo with music and party, I feel like we need to share some of the great moments from the night. A big thanks to WeSC, Banda non Grata (music), Tore Nilsen (photos) and all the people who got their faces down to celebrate with us..

Torp Festivalen 2011

Her is some pictures from Torp Festivalen 2011. The worlds greatest atmposphere is created in the forest of Hvitsten, Akershus. A dedicated group of people started this nice little festival for 5 years ago. We in cupofill wanted to partisipate and have a good time doing it, as all of the other artists do there. With a great program, nice people and hard party style around the clock, this truly is something to learn from, og get to.

Torp Festival 2011

Looking forward to Torp Festivalen 2011 in Hvidsten. The greatest festival at the moment. Being in deep in the forest, the atmosphere is so much nicer than a city festival. And we in cupofill are looking forward to contribute to a nice time including our illustration.

come join us..

Two f''' years old..

Hooooooray, the cupofill collective is two years old, and still going strong, stronger than ever in fact. Some of us move alot around, so some, I, have to stay home and hold the line. Since I am the only one home in Oslo at our annoversery, I got a friend of mine, Mr. Helsvett, to help me out with a mural. He went on, as the graphic designer, sketching out fonts, and I just went bananas on the wall, ending up doing some sort of a owl.

Then when Helsvett decided to go home, I had to compensate by drinking twise the amount of whiskey, and do the rest of the mural alone. I should have done the fonts better in color, but time was short..

Have a nice one...

Guitar desing - no way back

Now it's on. Drawing directly onto the slippery surface of the gutiar, I understand how people would want to do the design on stickers and paste it on. But this is the charm, not if, but when I fuck up a line, I have to start using my head. How can I make this look intentional? Now I have to take this black and white illustration "far of", completing a psychedelic desing for my friend. I also tried to use a injury of the guitar composing the wond on birdy her.

enjoy

taking it to the next level..

Hvidsten is hocking up with Bjune, a great animator, to do some 3D shit. A project I have been looking forward to. Just too see your own illustration tranceformed into something "living" must be great. This is the first sketches done for the project..

Guitar design..

Former bass player in the great band bloodlights asked me if I wanted do do some shit on his bass guitar, of course I had to take that risk. What to do then. His brief was loose and nice, "give me something completely of", so this is what I have been drawing on now. Ofter being "out on life" to much lately, I have problems getting lines and ideas, but it is starting to loosen up..

Hope its going to be far of..

Live illustration music visuals

Finally put together as a whole, some documentation of our live music illustration stuff. Now online, check it out here: http://www.behance.net/gallery/Live-music-ilustrationvisuals/1044807 Unfortunately, the photo coverage is a bit on the slim side for some of these gigs, but hopefully it will fill in in the end. Also stay tuned for video coverage in the future.
