Twisted Shit...
This evening´s life-drawing session took an odd turn. It started out with this pregnant lady, then it kinda went a little Jabba the Hut. anyway... All done on my iPad 2 using the Brushes App and the Just Mobile AluPen oh, and the Nomad Brush.
Weird.

Progressing digital doodles.
From this(september 2011):

To this(april 2012):

No longer doodles, they are. look out for this in sticker form sometime soon, and don't hesitate to holler if you'd like some.

Valentines day
It sure is. And this is surely a repost of a post i posted up on http://www.illustrationandcoffee.com just a moment ago. However, this here has got nothing to do with the fact that it is valentines day.
This piece of elephant has to do with the plight of animals in the circus.

not much more to say about that. in other news, I posted a gouache painting from my latest life drawing session up at http://cupofsketch.blogspot.com.

More Oldies
Here´s some more old drawings folks. I reckon these are at least 4-5 years old. Kind of a little series I was working on at the time. Initially, I think I meant some of these for tees or possibly making a zine. Red Posca paint marker and fine liners on paper. Not a style I am doing to much work in these days, but feel free to let me know what you think of it.

Old Chit.
Over the yuletide, I went for a little dive into the archives (that is my father´s attic), and I intend to share with you a selection of drawings from past times. Don´t expect much, but I think you´ll appreciate it.
This is a portrait of my former Housemate, and at the time fellow illustration student, I gave him a mustache to add a bit of character. mechanical pencil. ca. 2009, I think?

On a Sunday.
The best way to spend a sunday; Painting whilst listening to some smooth Jazz, the sun shining it´s streaks in through the window, autumn leaves coloring the ground outside.

Sing a song of sixpence...
Sing a song of sixpence
a pocket full of rye.
Four and twenty blackbirds,
Baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened,
The birds began to sing;
Wasn´t that a dainty dish,
To set before the king?
The King was in his counting house,
Counting his money;
The queen was in the parlour,
Eating bread and honey.
The maid was in the garden,
Hanging out the clothes;
When down came a blackbird
And pecked off her nose.
They sent for the king´s doctor,
Who sewed it on again;
He sewed it on so neatly,
The seam was never seen.

digital fun
I have been playing around with my iPad lately, trying to explore what creative tasks this gizmo is capable of. These crap style digital drawings were created using the app autodesk sketchbook pro, which is actually quite phenomenal.

Enjoy
