Egg painting for easter.

Continuing the tradition from last year, I managed to squeeze in the time to paint an Easter egg.
If you don´t remember last year´s egg, here´s a reminder: 2010 easter feaster

 This year, I wanted to go for something a bit different. Still with an animal theme, I wanted to play on a couple of other strings. The initial idea was to have some bunnies banging, then out come an egg. WTF? right? However not being at home with my art supplies I went another route. (incredibly difficult to paint without any brushes) In Norway, we love our Crime/ murder mysteries for Easter. Agatha Cristie has got some popular ones, Poirot being one of the personal favorites. Now you know what sort of feel I went for. Therefore I bring you..... (drumroll)

...Mystery (possibly a detective) Hare!

Computer cleanup

I was looking around on an old memorystick, and I found this.

It´s not really that old, but I think it looks kind of nice. All done analogue, letraset raster sheets cut and pasted. It was the front part of a flyer I did fairly quickly. (an hour or so) promoting a party at Java espresso bar for the Nordic Barista Championship of 2010 in Oslo.

Finally I got up to putting these online. This is a project I did summer 2010 at Hunting Lodge, in their dressing room. More can be seen on my Portfolio.

For those of you who don´t know, Hunting Lodge is a design-led gallery/store, an was the first of its kind in Oslo, selling exclusive designer led products from around the world. The direction of the store has its roots in contemporary street-wear. The main product is clothing and it is complemented by art, books, toys and accessories. It is also a platform for new and established artists, show casing work through exhibitions and products.

This is sort of where we begun, we had our first exhibition there and they have been great friends and supporters ever since. Check them out at Hunting Lodge or better yet Head on over there in Torggata 36, Oslo, Norway and show some appreciation. if you do make sure to pick up one of my "Bonding" prints before they are gone.

Nå er tiden inne for å komme opp med nyttårs forsetter man stort sett ikke klarer å holde, men denne gangen skal det holdes. Året 10 skal cupofill skyte seg opp i systemet og gjøre revolusjon i illustrsajons bransjen.
